About ChildNET
ChildNET provides free support for young children (ages 0–5) and their families.
The ChildNET team helps children build skills such as:
Getting along with others
Feeling comfortable at school
Managing big feelings
These services are funded by the County of San Diego and are free for families with Medi-Cal or no insurance.

Incredible Years® small group services
Incredible Years® parenting classes
Consultation with the program psychiatrist (as clinically appropriate and with parent permission)
Incredible Years® Curriculum
The ChildNET team is specially trained in the Incredible Years® curriculum and uses friendly puppets, including Dino the Dinosaur, Wally, and Molly, who represent school-aged children. These puppets help teach children important lessons about:
Following school rules
Friendship
Problem solving
Sharing feelings and how to manage them
Having a positive attitude about learning and school
